CHEF PATTIE LAWLERTRATANA
BIOGRAPHY
Chef Pattie Lawlertratana was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. After graduating college with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Thailand's Khon Kaen University, she moved to Atlanta, GA, where she began working many jobs in the food services industry, sparking her interest in the culinary world.
What started as a cooking hobby quickly became a new passion that Chef Pattie wanted to pursue further by enrolling in school at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta.
During her time at the institution, she participated in a one-year externship, where she lived and worked on the southern coast of France. Chef Pattie found a passion for working with high-quality seafood and helped to prepare sophisticated dishes at several top French restaurants while receiving firsthand culinary lessons from several top Michelin-star Chefs.
In 2017, she graduated from culinary school at the top of her class before soon becoming an owner of one of Atlanta's long-standing Thai restaurants, Bangkok Thai, where she prepares traditional Thai dishes using fresh ingredients.
Chef Patties newest restaurant, Snap Thai Fish House, opened in February 2023 in Atlanta's prestigious Buckhead neighborhood, where she takes her guests on a culinary journey to the coast of Thailand, offering a vast selection of fresh seafood delivered daily from the country's best suppliers, prepared using Thai-inspired flavors and her classic cooking techniques.
